The planets never stand still. New Moons open doors, Full Moons bring things to light, retrogrades ask for a second look, and eclipses mark turning points. Our calendars show every one of them, with what it could mean for you.

New to astrology?

You’re more than your Sun sign

Your horoscope sign is only the beginning. Your birth chart holds three signs that describe you best, and most people know just one of them.

Your Sun sign

Who you are at heart

What lights you up, what you’re here to grow into, and where you feel most like yourself.

Your Moon sign

How you feel

Your inner world: what comforts you, what you need from the people you love, and how you react when no one is watching.

Your Rising sign

How others see you

The first impression you give, your style, the way you walk into a room. It depends on the time you were born.

Good questions

What people ask first

What is my zodiac sign?

Your zodiac sign, or Sun sign, is the sign the Sun was passing through on the day you were born. Find your birthday in the twelve signs above. If you were born on the first or last day of a sign, check that sign’s page: the change happens at a slightly different time each year.

What’s the difference between my Sun, Moon and Rising sign?

Your Sun sign is who you are at heart. Your Moon sign is how you feel and what you need. Your Rising sign is how you come across to others. Together they’re often called your “big three”, and they describe you far better than one sign alone.

Do I need my birth time?

For your Sun sign, your birthday is enough. Your Moon sign usually needs only the date too. Your Rising sign and the houses of your chart need your birth time, ideally to the minute, and your place of birth. Your birth certificate, or a parent, may know it.

Can astrology predict my future?

We don’t see astrology as fate. It shows tendencies and timing: the themes in your life and the seasons when they come up. What you do with them is always up to you.
